SUMMER is our first vizsla, a very special little girl who quickly stole our hearts. On March 19th 2009, she gave birth to her first litter of puppies. The puppies were known as the "little pies'", because Summer is "Sweetie Pie". The pies will be 2 years old soon. They are all healthy, happy and we have made lots of new friends in their wonderful owners. Summer gets to see most of her puppies often. She plays with them, shares toys with them and puts up with lots of behaviours she would not allow in her other dogfriends!
The little pies have had many wonderful experiences and the chance to swim, run, attend classes, experience 'birds" and even participate in dog shows. All but one pie have been in the show ring and three even have some points towards a championship! Most have had a chance to show their talent when exposed to gamebirds in the field. They all perfomed well, pointed and showed great enthusiasm. Most of all the pies have become wonderful companions and an important part of their "families". Thanks to everyone who has nurtured, trained and let these puppies become who they are.
CRICKET is our gentle, beautiful, obedient and "very willing to please" vizsla. She would rather die than disappoint us! She is easy to live with and fits in as the situation demands.
Cricket helped Summer raise her eight puppies and is still happy to entertain the pies when they come to visit. A litter is planned for Cricket in the summer.
