SONDELA: A Zulu word which means "come closer". This could not more accurately describe what is on the minds of my Vizslas most of the time. Hence, given my South African heritage, my kennel name was born.
Summer came to live with us, as a puppy in 2004. Her name derived from the fact that while she was born in a New England winter, I was sunning myself in an African Summer. She not only changed our lives, but claimed our hearts as well.
Soon I became a member of the Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club, of which I am now the Membership Chair. I also joined the Vizsla Club of America.
In January 2009 it was decided to breed Summer. My favourite male Vizsla, Magnum, was chosen after much thought and research, as the stud dog. I believe that the two dogs complemented each other and the puppies of this litter were sound in Health and Temperament as well as excellent in the Show and Agility Rings. As expected all of the offspring show great hunting ability too.

Cricket joined our family in March 2006. She is a wonderful Vizsla who easily became a champion. She effortlessly bonded with all members of our family. She is extremely willing to please, very obedient and loves in huge quantities! She has shown great aptitude for agility, and has proved to be an above average hunting dog. She is very easy to live with and will produce excellent offspring. A litter is planned for the Summer.
